Project Description
Noodles
Client
Noodles is a no profit organisation and their mission is to develop awareness and empowerment for science-driven promotion of healthy lifestyles and behaviours, sustainable and safe production and consumption of quality foods and products, as well as environmental health measures.
“The African living environments, diets, and habits are changing. Along with them, nutritional requirements are changing as well”.
My responsibilities
Working with Noodles was a great experience, not only because it’s a good cause (which is always a plus) but it also was an interesting and stimulating project. I was the sole designer and this gave me the opportunity to let my creativity go wild.
I decided to give a new and fresh start to Noodles and completely re-think their identity. It needed to be fun and colourful but professional and reliable at the same time. I chose a strong typeface, used vibrant colours inspired by African culture and created some patterns to spice it up.
Magazine and Illustrations
I was later commissioned to re-design the layout of their annual magazine and create some artwork to use throughout their campaign in Nigeria and Senegal.
The purpose of the campaign was to educate Nigerian and Senegalese women to have a healthy and balanced diet during pragnancy and while breastfeeding.
“Sustainable food safety (diet and foods that minimize transgenerational dietary exposure) targets appropriate nutritional intervention and food safety campaigns devoted to women in childbearing age and younger.”
